COVID-19 Updates

We’re excited to announce our transition back to In-Person Visits!

As we transition back into more normal, in-person functions, we appreciate your patience!

Please be aware that we are only allowing a set number of in-person appointments each day and once we meet that number all other appointments will be CURBSIDE.  We will continue to restrict Drop Offs, Technician Appointments, and Recheck Appointments to CURBSIDE ONLY.

Please know that In-Person appointments are optional, and Curbside appointments are still encouraged.

We do still require that you call our main phone number (509-578-1729) as soon as you arrive for your appointment and stay in your vehicle, regardless of appointment type,  FOR ALL APPOINTMENTS.

We will continue to follow all relevant CDC guidelines for enhanced cleaning and sanitization in between all appointments.  Every exam room and all equipment will be fully cleaned and sanitized following every use.

Following updated CDC guidelines, any and all unvaccinated staff will continue to wear masks at all times while working.  Staff that is verified fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will not be required to wear masks either indoors or outdoors.  Masks will be worn by ALL staff, regardless of vaccination status, when in enclosed spaces with members of the public (such as exam rooms).

WHAT TO EXPECT

CURBSIDE APPOINTMENTS: (Front of Clinic Parking)

We ask that you still call our clinic phone number as soon as you arrive and WAIT IN YOUR VEHICLE

A staff member will come out to your vehicle to review your pet’s medical history with you and ask some questions relevant to your visit, as well as receive approval for any routine treatments as appropriate (such as Nail Trims, Vaccinations, Anal Gland Expressions, etc.)

A staff member will take your pet inside the clinic to perform your pet’s exam and/or any routine treatments as agreed upon. For visits including an exam by a doctor, the doctor will return with the staff member helping you to discuss any exam findings and any recommendations or further treatments.

IN-PERSON APPOINTMENTS: (Street Side Parking)

YOU MUST WEAR A MASK THAT FULLY COVERS YOUR MOUTH AND NOSE AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE BUILDING!

We ask that you still call our clinic phone number as soon as you arrive and WAIT IN YOUR VEHICLE

A staff member will come out to you and guide you into the building and directly into an exam room.

A staff member will join you in the exam room and review your pet’s medical history and ask some questions relevant to your visit.

The Doctor will join you in the exam room to review any concerns you may have and perform a complete examination of your pet.

If you have any concerns or the doctor has any additional recommendations the staff member helping you will go over a detailed estimate before further treatment.

After the initial examination and discussion with the doctor, any routine treatments (such as vaccinations) will be performed in the room with you.

If your pet requires further treatments (such as diagnostic testing including x-rays, ultrasound, and/or bloodwork) we will ask for you to leave your pet with us and have you return to your vehicle to wait.  We will return your pet to you as soon as the treatments and/or testing is completed.
